the loudest noise is silence

silence
falls on this day
a vow
to fight against hate

break
walls and barriers of ill
mend
with arms open and lips sealed

rainbow
is a color where beauty lies
deprived
of a chance to be proud and shine

come
together to bring the silence
hear
and listen to voices of resilience

when noise
that drowns their cries cease
muted
only can we hear their pleas

create
a community where love is safe
a world
free to be one's self and on their own space

louder
than hate, harassment, and bullying
is love
in the silence of acceptance and protecting
