UST Tiger Radio is holding Tiger Radio Caravan 2.0—presenting Thomasians with disco music and live performances that showcase timeless music and special guest live performances. TR Caravan 2.0 takes place this May 12, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the UST Practice Gym-A with Tiger Radio's Jocks Nana, Sadie, Zen, Luke, Sage, and Val. This event is a continuation of the 2018 TR Caravan project station.
Taking the stage with live performances are Bam, Anton Stefano Acosta, and Benchfly. From 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, guests will have a special airing with Tiger Radio on Mixlr. Topics that will be discussed during the event are OPM retro songs and bands and "POP-OFF like the 70s: The 70s Pop Culture" alongside featured guests Benchfly and Anton Stefano Acosta respectively.
UST Tiger Radio will also be giving out free passes and freebies to new followers of their social media accounts and the event will have a photo booth that attendees can enjoy. UST TR Caravan 2.0 is sponsored by KopiCookies, RCL ONLINE SHOPPE, PLDT, and Kuya JRs Japsilog.
Last April 22, 2023, UST Tiger Radio held an event via Mixlr and Spotify called VINYLTHON 2023: Disco Daydream which celebrated vinyl records and disco music with guests Prof. Augusto Antonio A. Aguila, Ph.D. and Mx. Louriz Alvarez and the sponsorship of ScareCrow House of DJ.
