On October 26, 2026, the much-anticipated Grand Launch occurred at the UST Medicine Auditorium. With the theme #ArangkadaCASA, the event launched this year's general plan of action, a new set of officers, and also reintroduced the CASA guilds.
Arangkada CASA, or #ArangkadaCASA, embodies progress, movement, and purposeful action. The event is about regaining CASA's momentum and a new commitment to keep the association responsive, active, and advancing in service of its constituency.
As emphasized by Asst. Prof. Glenn Irwin C. Reynon, the adviser of UST-CASA,
“CASA is not just a name; it is something to take care of. We guide, we nurture, and we leave no one behind.”
Hosted by Joseph Marc Salas, Arahbella Bradecina, Rebekah Atienza, and RV Sky Ramos, with Voiceover Artist Tara Montalbo, the program began with a riveting performance of Heart Flores, Alexandra Papas, and Abigail Misagal as they sang one of Little Mix’s iconic songs, Wings, featuring CASA Footworks and the CASA Executive Board, plunging the stage into a mix of body rhythm and exciting vocals.

Once the performance ended, the students finally welcomed the incumbent President of the CASA Executive Board, Miguel Andrei P. Benito, who then delivered an inspiring presidential address to the CASAns, encouraging everyone to make a positive impact on the community, seize opportunities, and find their place in it.

The next segment of the event is the introduction of the guilds. CASA Chronicle was represented first by its Editor-in-Chief, Alyssa Moira Gabriel. In her speech, she highlighted the Chronicle's importance as the voice of the student body. It is a place to ask questions and a way to bring information closer to students. Alyssa encouraged more students to join the organization and to share their stories with their fellow students.
After CASA Chronicle’s introduction came the MUSICASA Guild’s introduction; in her speech, MUSICASA Guild Head Abigail Misagal and Alexandra Papas emphasized music as a means of communication and a form of creative expression and urged everyone to join the organization to share their talent with the world. A quick break from the segment to keep the crowd energized, 20 students were then selected to play a short elimination game of — TATAK MO O TATAKBO? Featuring questions about CASA's history and communication department itself.
After the games, the new officers presented their plans for the rest of the first and second semesters.
For the first semester, the activities are as follows:
PSBC
Media Congress
BroadQuest
AdQuest
IMCQuest
Sine Reel
COMMTV Awards (Batch 2027)
Meanwhile, the second semester activities include:

These activities will ensure that every batch and every student gets to shine in the classroom and beyond BGPOP's four walls, providing a path for participation. After presenting their plans for the academic year 2026 - 2027, the ceremony transitioned to the first award of the day, bringing the spotlight to the work of sophomores and freshmen.

After the awarding of the sophomores and freshmen, CASA Footworks delivered another performance, which was then followed by the introduction of their guild, led by the core team and pool heads of CASA Footworks. In their speech, they talked about the capabilities of Footworks and its members. Each and every one of them is capable of performing any dance, and this year their team is striving to win the Cypher Dance Competition, continuing their 10-year winning streak. Next, the rest of CASA Footwork’s team was introduced, with each member delivering a short speech emphasizing teamwork, dynamics, endless passion, and marketing their second wave of auditions and their new merchandise.
The guild is CASA's public speaking guild; it not only provides avenues to help communication students reach their public speaking potential but also hosts a podcast and training sessions.
