The Philippine Media Advocacy Conference (PMAC) returns to the stage today, April 12, 2025, to bring the country’s communication scholars together for a momentous once-in-a-year event and celebrate the field of communication and broadcasting.

Partnered with the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), the conference has long since pushed for the advancement of media and communication in terms of quality and ethical responsibility through education, dialogue, and the promotion of moral principles.

The event is managed by the UST Communication Arts Students’ Association (UST-CASA) who are expecting a participant count of around a hundred people, hosting students from universities and organizations all around the Philippines.

The participants can expect informative lectures from reputable guest speakers from the KBP, as well as an educational workshop that aims to hone their skills in responsible broadcasting.

PMAC also held a competition in the weeks leading to the event in which entries from willing participants have been judged and graded to determine winners in categories related to broadcasting. The winners will be crowned during the event proper.

Catch PMAC 2025 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Exhibit Hall of the Beato Angelico Building, at the University of Santo Tomas.
