Roarous fervor from our CASAn Juniors rang loud as StreamCon: Beyond Television took place yesterday, May 19, 2023, at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium—an awards ceremony culminating their semester's worth of hard work planning and producing their very own shows in completion of their TV Production course.
Below are each block's competing show and their production houses:
Tiger Score by One Air Productions (3COM1)
Skulit and Tiger Plates by DOS Studios (3COM2)
Dorm it Yourself and XP Boost by Cube Productions (3COM3)
Unimuni by The Fourth House (3COM4)
Hosting the event were Rachelle Ann Bustillos and Klyde Jay Eugenio from CASA Retorika as they kept the junior crowd on their toes, presenting each award alongside notable figures from the CASAn community and explaining their given criteria throughout the event.
The event was formally started with a prayer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Before getting into the awards, Officer-in-Charge of StreamCon 2023 and outgoing UST CASA President, Ms. Jenina Bea C. Jazul, offered a few short words acknowledging the level of challenge each block had to overcome to produce a TV show in a span of a semester.
Industry experts invited to be this year's judges were also introduced.
Jaime Bolok, former executive producer at TV Patrol and ABS-CBN.
Adrian Santos, CASA alumnus, film and TV producer, and channel head at Buko Channel and Cignal TV.
Patty Palmero, digital marketing executive at the ABS-CBN Entertainment Youtube Channel.
Karah Decapia-Reyes, producer and digital video production head at IWantTFC and ABS-CBN

Intermission performances from our very own MusiCASA and CASA Retorika serenaded and hyped up our juniors in between awards and kept the audience energized throughout the ceremony.
Wrapping up the roster of awards, One Air Productions' Tiger Score reigned on top and was hailed Broadcast Channel of the Year, garnering a total of five awards this StreamCon ceremony.
Mx. Louise Elaine Legaspi, the outgoing Secretary and the co-officer-in-charge for StreamCon 2023, delivered her closing remarks congratulating each production house for their hard work as it marks one step closer to finishing this semester. The event was formally concluded with the singing of the UST Hymn.
