The UST Entrance Test is coming back and the application is now open.
Last August 26, 2022, UST announced the return of the UST Entrance Test (USTET) for the academic year 2023-2024, where applicants will undergo an entrance examination to determine their eligibility for the university. This will replace the UST Admission Rating (USTAR) system that was used in lieu of the unavailability of physically held entrance tests. According to the UST Office for Admissions, the final rating will comprise of the entrance exam score (80%) and the computed average grade (20%) in Math, English, and Science as based on the USTET Application Grades Form.
- Priority Program. This is the preferred program and the first interest of the applicant.
- Alternative Program. In the event that the applicant does not get through their priority program, they will be considered for this program. Take note that when an applicant qualifies for their priority program, the alternative program is no longer processed.
- Tracks and Strands. These refer to the SHS programs. Choose a track or strand that aligns with your college plans or career goals.
