Radiating their MalaCASAng dance prowess with an Aliwan festival–inspired routine, Footworks toppled 5 other teams in the Faculty of Arts and Letters, placing Philosophy's bet Sophus Rox in the 2nd place, and Behavioral Sciences' representatives Bes Cathartic at the 3rd rank.
This year's AB Cypher revolved around festival-themed performances. Creative Writing's Parabayle gave life to the Panagbenga Festival, while Asian Studies' Furasia performed a Bambanti festival–inclined display. Lex Baile of Legal Management, on the other hand, had the Masskara Festival routine.
Runner-ups Sophus Rox and Bes Cathartic employed their Pintados and Mamanggi Festival-fused dances.
Aside from the group face-offs, a freestyle dance battle emerged with Dylan Ruiz from Sophus Rox hailed as the winner of such. Meanwhile, Footworks' Nathan Mañaol represented the said guild in this battle with commendable efforts.
Additionally, this is CASA Footworks' 8th claimed gold in the said competition, with their last clinched win pre-pandemic in 2019.
Huge congratulations to CASA Footworks! The CASAn Community is immensely proud of you all.
