UST issues schedule for Graduation Photo-taking for Thomasian Yearbook '24

Per the memorandum from the Office of the Secretary-General, schedules for the year-long picture-taking among the Graduating students for the Thomasian Yearbook 2024 were recently announced. 

The Arts and Letters department is scheduled for October 1-15, 2023. The venue for the picture-taking for higher education will be held at DMD Studio located at 1228 V. Concepcion St., Sampaloc, Manila. The internal schedule of the departments and sections will be coordinated by the Academic Unit (AU) secretaries and will be relayed to respective Local Student Councils. 

A terms and conditions form must be downloaded via the MyUSTe Student portal and be filled out by students before proceeding to the pictorial. This form will be presented to the representative at DMD and will serve as proof that the student was able to have their photo and complied with the set guidelines by UST. 

The Office of the Secretary-General has also announced a strict guideline for proper grooming for students to adhere to for the pictorial. 

Facial Accessories will not be allowed, which include: eyeglasses, contact lenses apart from natural eye color, earrings, piercings, and excessive make-up

Moreover, it was highlighted that students’ hairstyles must be combed, and neatly trimmed. Unnatural hair color of any sort is prohibited for all students, as also set by the student handbook.

Male students are not allowed to have their hair touch the collar of their uniform and are also not encouraged to make use of any sort of hair accessories. On the other hand, female students’ hair must be loose and no hair accessories should be used. 

Graduating students will wear their graduation along with the hood of their respective academic units.
