Ready, set, ROAR!

The University of Santo Tomas proclaims December 9 and 10, 2022 as ‘Yellow Days,’ signifying the Thomasian community’s full-on support for the university’s eight-time champion Salinggawi Dance Troupe as they vie to clinch the crown in the upcoming UAAP Season 85 Cheerdance Competition on December 10, 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The said competition will revert back to its old format, using its pre-pandemic rules.

In line with the memorandum from the Office of the Secretary-General set forth last December 2, the Thomasian community is encouraged to sport their best yellow attires ranging from Thomasian shirts, tiger prints, and accessories, cheering on the troupe for the said competition; these attires must abide by the dress code policies mandated by the school.

In the eight participating squads this Saturday, the said team is set to execute their routine third among the order—hinting at a "Monster" theme for their performance.

If you are interested in buying the dance troupe's official support shirt, the selling started last December 5 and will continue until December 10 at the P. Noval Exit Gate 7 from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. and at the Quadricentennial Pavilion training grounds from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Other details are displayed on the official Salinggawi Dance Troupe’s Facebook page.

The event will be broadcasted live on One Sports on free television, the UAAP Varsity Channel on pay TV, and Cignal Play online.
