The University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers joins the #UAAPink movement as they invite fans to wear pink at every UST game in the second round of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines' (UAAP) 84th season.
On their Facebook page, the UST Growling Tigers showed solidarity with other universities fighting for good governance, encouraging fans to temporarily ditch the usual yellow with pink in support of VP Leni Robredo's presidential candidacy in the upcoming national elections.
Prior to the statement released by the UST Growling Tigers, the #UAAPink movement was kickstarted as an agreement between fans of ADMU's Blue Eagles and DLSU's Green Archers to wear the color pink during their matches.
