Heads up, Thomasians!
Per the memorandum of the Office of the Secretary-General, classes will be suspended from 4 P.M. onwards on December 13 to make way for students to attend the Paskuhan Mass and Agape.
Paskuhan Mass
Onto the pertinent details, the UST Paskuhan Mass will be held at the Plaza Mayor at 5 P.M. and this will be presided over by Very Rev. Fr. Richard G. Ang, OP. The said mass will also be concelebrated by the Dominican Fathers of the Priory of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Further, the love offerings gathered during the mass will be given to the SantÍsimo Rosario Parish-UST.
Agape: The Thomasian Christmas Feast
Following the Eucharistic celebration, the students and University staff are all highly encouraged to partake in the Agape, the Thomasian Christmas Feast
Promoting the idea of Christmas as the season of giving during the Agape season, the University will also be launching a project dubbed as Ningning 2023: Ang Busilak na Diwa ng Pasko ay Masisilayan sa Ngiti ng Bawat Pamilyang Tomasino. This project encourages the Thomasian community to bring gifts-in-kind like school supplies, food items for Noche Buena packages, or cash gifts as they take part in the University’s Christmas Feast.
Further, the distribution of Food Stubs for the Agape will be facilitated by the Office of the Property Custodian from December 4 onwards in front of the Albertus Magnus Building. All other significant details of stub claiming can be read through Chronicle’s article here.
Carless Day on the 13th
In honor of the Eucharistic Celebration (Paskuhan Mass), the Central Committee on University Events declared December 13, 2023 as Carless Day.
Only vehicles of suppliers are allowed to enter the campus specifically for delivery purposes.
