As the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) returns for its 85th season this upcoming Saturday, October 1, 2022, a send-off party will be held onsite to commemorate and feature the athletes who are set to compete in this upcoming season. Tiger Media Network is hosting an exciting three-part segment event open for all Thomasians, so be sure to tune in to discover all of the surprises in store.
TIGER RESURGENCE: UAAP KICKOFF PARTY PRE-EVENT STREAM

Are you curious to know who the rookies are that will represent UST in the upcoming UAAP season? Don't worry, Tiger Media Network will be holding a 30-minute pre-event livestream to highlight and interview the athletes participating this Saturday. With this, we can get a glimpse of what we can expect from them in this new season.
This segment is set to air live on September 28, 2022, at exactly 12:30PM, on UST Tiger TV's official Facebook Page.
TIGER RESURGENCE: UAAP KICKOFF PARTY
Continuing an ongoing tradition, the Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (IPEA) has again partnered up with Tiger Media Network to spearhead and unify the spirits of the Thomasian community as a way to show their support for the athletes competing in the UAAP.
As UST Tiger TV hosted its first ever virtual kick-off party last February, "Tiger Unleashed," as well as the award-winning Sports Campaign and Kickoff Party "Tiger Takeover" all the way back in 2019, it's long overdue for another on-site rally to show our utmost support and encouragement to our athletes for this year's "Tiger Resurgence."

Aside from being a send-off ceremony and a chance to show support for our athletes, this Kickoff Party will provide Thomasians with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the university's esteemed sports teams from their history and achievements, to their visions and prospects as student-athletes. Furthermore, this is also an excellent moment for the audience to truly witness the wits and talents that our athletes have on and off the court.
With all that said, the segment will have a lineup of the following:
- An Opening Number featuring our very own UST Salinggawi Dance and UST Sinag Ballroom Dance Troupe
- The "Tomasino Name It" and "Pera o Bota" will be making a comeback after their launch during the onboarding week of the university, this time with the players coming from our pool of athletes
- Team Performances specially prepared by our UST Sports Teams
- UST’s official UAAP Campaign for Season 85 titled, “Ready to Roar” will also premiere during this event
- And a Teaser Video of UST Tiger TV’s premiere sports show titled, “The Frontrunners” will also be aired live at the end of the program
This Kickoff Party is an absolutely wonderful way to kickstart the UAAP journey of our athletes as we witness them bring glory and pride to our university. This event will kick off from 1:00PM to 4:00PM, on September 28, 2022, via UST Tiger TV's official Facebook Page.
THOMASIAN ALUMNI GAME

To close the Kickoff Party, a set of Thomasian Alumni were invited back to the Quadricentennial Pavilion to showcase their timeless basketball abilities as a way to officially end the program.
Once more, this will be broadcasted through UST Tiger TV’s Facebook Page from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
