Heads up, CASAns!
The University of Santo Tomas will be conducting its AMBAG 500, a university-wide retreat with the theme “Eukaristiya: Biniyayaan Upang Maging Biyaya” on April 27-29, 2022. With this, classes and work for said dates are suspended in order to give way for the event.
As an event with a hybrid format, a limited number of onsite slots were equitably distributed based on the responses from the pre-registration form given. Those who were willing to attend onsite were given slots by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Religious Affairs.
Part of the retreat is the Memorial Wall which focuses on commemorating the departed members of the Thomasian community—students, academic staff, and supporting staff, who passed away due to COVID and non-COVID causes from 2020 up to now.
AMBAG 500 is a time dedicated to the occasion of renewal, solemnity, and remembrance of the Thomasians who have left us to be with the Lord.
Though students are required to participate in the retreat, attendance will not be checked. Nonetheless, every Thomasian is encouraged and expected to attend the AMBAG 500 Retreat.
