In the latest ASEAN Private University Rankings announced by AppliedHE, the University of Santo Tomas was placed fourth in ASEAN and first in the Philippines. Among the eight universities noted to have participated in the Philippines, UST was recognized as the top university in the whole country.
The universities were assessed and ranked based on the following criteria:
Teaching and learning (40%)
Employability (15%)
Research (15%)
Internationalization (10%)
Community Engagement (10%)
Institutional Reputation (10%)
In ASEAN, UST achieved a high score in institutional reputation and delivered an excellent performance in employability and community outreach.
The certificate given to the university was signed by the Founder and CEO of AppliedHE, Ms. Mandy Mok, and their Chief Analyst, Mr. Pieter Stek.
