It is no secret that UST-CASA, the Official Student Organization of AB in Communication, is one of the most notable student organizations under the Faculty of Arts and Letters having almost 600 students under the communication department with almost 100 CASAns working inside the organization.
Besides the core teams that handle the events planned by the organization, UST-CASA also contains guilds in which the talents and skills of CASAns shine brightly like stars scattered in the night sky.
Now back better than ever, UST-CASA is hosting an event called Guild Fest 2022: Redefining Talents through Empowerment and we are living for it! This event aims to serve as a platform for the CASAn Guilds to showcase the talents they have and the experiences they have gone through in the community.
Here are all 5 CASAn Guilds that will be present during the said event:
CASA Multimedia
CASA Multimedia is CASA's official coverage team focusing on the skills of CASAns in Photography, Videography, Filming, and Editing that is headed by Ms. Maxine Joaquin.
MusiCASA
MusiCASA is the proud official music guild of UST-CASA and is home to every musically inclined CASAns where they can hone and express their talents and skills in singing and playing musical instruments. This guild is currently headed by Mr. Leo Masa.
CASA Retorika
Home of our beloved CASAn hosts, CASA Retorika is the offical public speaking guild of the Communication Arts Students' Association that is headed by Ms. Rachelle Bustillos. This guild focuses on improving the hosting and public speaking abilities of its guild members.
CASA Footworks
CASA Footworks is UST-CASA's official dance guild that empowers its members to perform to their heart's desires. Their motto? "Solid with God, Together we dance." The current head of this guild is Ms. Cheng Sadie.
CASA Chronicle
CASA Chronicle is the official publication of UST-CASA that has been recently revived. This guild aims to showcase the journalistic and creative capabilities of its team members and also help keep everyone informed on the current happenings inside the Communication Arts Student's Association. Ms. Mia Seleccion is the appointed Editor-In-Chief of the publication.
Not only will the heads of each guild be answering some questions prepared by our hosts, but there will also be awaited performances from our very own talented guild members that will be shown during the Live event.
Buckle up and join us as we get to know more about these guilds and how they empower the CASAn Community through their talents and skills! We bet that there will also be some fun surprises for the audience, so make sure to check it out or you might miss out on all the fun!
