The Faculty of Arts and Letters are all set to face the next academic year together with a new batch of student leaders as Artlets Student Council Elections 2022 concluded yesterday, March 8 at Proklamasyon 2022 streamed via the TOMCAT-UST Facebook page.
The results are as follows:
President
- Coronado, Cyrille L. - 485 votes
- Dacanay, Kim Czaccei P. - 966 votes
- Unanswered Votes - 105 votes
TOTAL: 1536
Gathering 62.9% of the votes, Kim Czaccei P. Dacanay won the Presidential race. Cyrille L. Coronado tallied 30.3% of the votes, while the remaining 6.8% were unanswered votes, all in total of 100%.
Internal Vice President
- Balbaboco, Jose Maria M. - 1219 votes
- Unanswered Votes - 317 votes
TOTAL: 1536
Jose Maria M. Balbaboco won the Internal Vice Presidential race, garnering 79.4% of the votes against the 20.6% that remained unanswered, adding to a total of 100%.
External Vice President
- Tabuno, Ierathel F. - 727 votes
- Santiago Timothy John C. - 708 votes
- Unanswered Votes - 101 votes
TOTAL: 1536
The winner of the External Vice Presidential race is Ierathel F. Tabuno, who collected 47.3% of the Artlets Community's votes against 46.1% of Timothy John C. Santiago and 6.6% of unanswered votes, a total of 100%.
Secretary
- Buan, Janica Kate J. - 1279 votes
- Unanswered Votes - 257 votes
TOTAL: 1536
Janica Kate J. Buan is the new Secretary of the Artlets Student Council, garnering 83.3% of the total votes compared to the 16.7% unanswered votes, adding to a total of 100%.
Meanwhile, there are no candidates who filed to run for the positions of Treasurer, Auditor, and Public Relations Officer.
