The EspaƱa-based squad made the audience paws-up to their six-minute Lady Gaga-inspired routine that earned them 640 total points—bringing home P20,000. Last season’s defending champs FEU Cheering Squad finished at 719 points, making them the 1st runner-up, and the now-seven-time CDC title holder NU Pep Squad scores 723 total points with their gold-winning cheer-obics—themed performance.
Garnering 82.5 points for tumblings, 75 for stunts, 64.5 for tosses, 74 for pyramids, and 348 for dance, Salinggawi showcased an almost clean run, accumulating only a four-point-penalty deduction, one of the lowest recorded penalties in this edition of CDC.
Aside from breaking through the long CDC podium drought in front of the MOA Arena’s more than 18,000-capacity audience, the Thomasian troupe’s bronze placement also shatters the three-consecutive fourth-place standing since 2018.
SDT Head Coach Mark Chaiwalla took to Instagram his gratitude for all the support the team had received, highlighting that being proud of the squad is an understatement.

Following through the CDC rankings this year, the UE Pep Squad with their Pinoy P-Pop-based cheer, stands next to UST at 606.5 total points while the Adamson Pep Squad fails to maintain their podium residence, securing the 5th spot this year with their Jennifer Lopez-themed routine at 595 points.
Placing 6th is the UP Pep Squad with an amassed 575.5 points for their Black Eyed Peas performance; DLSU Animo Squad’s Janet Jackson-themed routine scored 528.5 points, and Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion’s Black Panther-inspired display collected 502.5 points—ranking them 7th and 8th respectively.
As this season’s CDC comes to a finish, it is noted that the NU Pep Squad are now inches away from tieing with UST and UP’s eight championship crowns after bagging their seventh gold this year.
