Buckle up for round 2, Thomasians!
Tiger Media Network is back as they host the Thomasian Homecoming 2022 tomorrow, August 23 Tuesday. This event is for the sophomores and juniors, who for the past two years, are yet to experience the university's traditional welcoming rites. Look forward to an eventful lineup as the program will include: fun and interactive booths, the ever-so-loud ROARientation, and the much-anticipated Homecoming Walk. So get ready to tie your shoelaces and prepare your loudest roars because the Thomasian Homecoming 2022 is approaching.

Similar to the freshmen week held earlier this month, ROARientation 2022 will also be held this coming 23rd of August at the Quadricentennial Pavilion Arena. The event will include a variety of jam-packed activities such as an opening number, interactive games, several live performances, and a batch dance. Through the many activities to be held, ROARientation 2022 aims to establish the historical and cultural significance of the university—aside from its success as an academic institution—among our sophomore and junior students.
This event will be held in three batches. The first batch is to be held at exactly 9:00AM., the second at 1:00PM, and the third at 5:00PM. For those who won't be able to make it, you can still tune in on Tiger TV's official Facebook page and at UST's official FB page as the event will be livestreamed there.
Don't forget to engage yourself with the programs to avoid missing out on exciting prizes that will be adequately rewarded to the active members of the audience, especially during the game segments.

Following the ROARientation is the Thomasian Homecoming Walk, an age-old tradition for newcomers to the university where they enter the Arch of Centuries, signifying a new chapter in their lives as Thomasians. Considering how the sophomore and junior students were unable to enter the Arch of Centuries during the pandemic, they are now given the chance to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.
Likewise, this would also be livestreamed over at UST Tiger TV's Facebook page and will be shared by the official FB page of UST. The walk will be divided into three batches, one at 11:00 AM, another at 2:30 PM, and lastly at 6:30 PM. Each student will enter the Arch of the Centuries according to their respective colleges or faculties. Check your society's official page to learn which batch you are a part of or refer you may refer to this post.
TMN ON-GROUND: TREASURING THE THOMASIAN EXPERIENCE
Last but not the least, Tiger Media Network invites sophomore and junior students to experience and become introduced to the official student-produced media platforms offered at UST—Tiger TV and Tiger Radio.
TMN plans to set up four booths, each with its own unique set of gimmicks, to offer an interactive introduction to its media platforms:

- Experience the feeling of being a talent for Tiger Radio as the Tiger Radio Booth will allow students to participate and speak inside their booth while the audio will air live through the audio-live streaming service, mixlr.com. Share your experiences with the hashtag #XPTMN if you enjoyed participating in Tiger Radio's booth.
- For those interested in learning about hosting, Tiger TV Booth will challenge students to a spiel challenge to test their skills. Not only that, if you think you have what it takes to become one of Tiger TV's talents, you can showcase your hosting prowess by reading a prepared script that the booth has prepared in advance. If you enjoyed your experiences with Tiger TV's booth, use the hashtag #XPTMN to share your fun and memorable moments.
- TMN also provides a booth for tech-savvy individuals through their Website Booth. Within the booth are laptops/computers that students can access to launch the official TMN website. Be interactive as those who answer a short survey may get a chance to win Premium Merchandise and a possible sponsorship with Switch.
- Lastly, if you're in the mood for some photo-ops, TMN has got you covered as they have a Photo Booth that will be set up so that you can take home a photo souvenir from the face-to-face event. The photo received will include scannable QR codes leading to the TMN website and Tiger TV page. Share your cool photos online with the hashtag #CapturedbyTMN.
TMN's booths will all be set up on the Quadricentennial Pavilion.
With all that said, congratulations to our sophomores and juniors who have been waiting patiently for this time to come. Mark the date on your calendars and stand by on all the exciting news for this homecoming week. Stay safe, have fun, and be careful on your way to UST and back home!
